Francesco was born in Colle val d'Elsa in 1968, since 1995 he has travelled to various parts of the world, Madagascar, Tunisia, Iceland, Lapland, Bolivia, Chile, India, Ladakh, Finland, and especially in Asia, Russia, Yakutia, Kamchatka, and former USSR states, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, China, Azerbajgian, Armenia, Georgia, Siberia, Transiberian railway, from Mongolia to Afghanistan, on the silk road along the ancient caravan routes.
During these years he has tried to describe his experiences through photography, living in close contact with the various ethnic groups and people who inhabit these vast and mysterious lands.
He has worked for several Russian magazines and other commissions in Tuscany where he lives today.
